Is this diffuser rechargeable and what is the battery life?
Yes, it is rechargeable. It features a built-in 1700mAh battery that provides 1.5 to 3.5 hours of cordless operation on a single charge. For all-day use, we highly recommend using the included Type-C cable to power it directly from a wall adapter, power bank, or even your car charger.
Does it have an automatic shut-off feature?
Yes, safety is our priority. The ORBBY Diffuser has an intelligent automatic shut-off timer that turns the unit off after 6 hours of continuous operation, providing peace of mind whether you're using it at home, in the office, or falling asleep.
Can it be used with essential oils?
No. We do not recommend using liquid essential oils, as spills can leak into and damage the internal electronic components. This diffuser is specifically designed and optimized for use with our solid, waterless scented granules for a mess-free experience. You can also use incense resin.
Is this diffuser quiet?
Yes, absolutely. Since it operates using silent electronic heating rather than a fan or water pump, it produces no audible sound. This makes it perfect for quiet environments like bedrooms for sleep, offices for focus, or during meditation.
Is it safe to use around kids and pets?
The ORBBY Diffuser is a much safer alternative to candles or incense. It is flameless, and operates at a low surface temperature (the lid becomes only warm to the touch). However, as a general precaution, we recommend placing it on a stable surface out of direct reach of children and pets.（Note that it will produce very mild smoke）
Can it be used in a car?
Yes, it's perfectly suited for car use! Its compact and sleek design fits snugly in your car's cup holder. It can run on its internal battery after being fully charged (1.5-3 hours runtime), or you can keep it powered continuously using your car's Type-C port. What happens to the pellets? Do they produce smoke or residue?
The process is clean. The pellets are heated, not burned, so they do not produce much smoke or ash. After their fragrance is released, the spent pellets can be simply discarded—they will not have melted into a messy liquid.
